Rajesh Khanna Indian and Politician Legendary Actor Biography

Khanna expired in July 2012.  He's been awarded Padma Bhushan, India's third-highest civilian honor.  He has been honored with a statue and a stamp in his likeness, and a street renamed from India's Prime Minister. 


He'd 106 hero films, of which 97 were published between 2013 and 1967. He also made his debut in 1966 using Aakhri Khat that was also India's first official Oscar Entry in 1967.  He appeared in 12 movies and over 168 feature movies.   For finishing 26 years at the Hindi theatre, he was awarded the Filmfare Award. In 2005, he had been honored with the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award to the 50th Anniversary of the Filmfare Awards.  He was the best-paid Indian celebrity from 1970 to 1987, whereas Amitabh Bachchan shared precisely the exact same label with Rajesh Khanna from 1980 to 1987.
He had been a Member of Parliament at the Lok Sabha from New Delhi Lok Sabha constituency between 1996 and 1992.

Early life

Khanna did his two Decades of the Bachelor of Arts from 1959 to 1961 in Nowrosjee Wadia College at Pune.   Khanna tutored Jeetendra because of his very first movie audition.  The first title of Khanna shifted when he chose to enter movies.

Rajesh Khanna was Created as Jatin Khanna, in Amritsar from the Country of Punjab, on 29 December 1942.  He raised and had been adopted from Leelawati Khanna and Chunnilal Khanna, who were relatives of the parents.  His father had migrated into Gali Tiwarian at Amritsar from West Punjab.  His parents were Chandrani Khanna and Lala Hiranand Khanna.  Lala functioned as headmaster of this MC High School at Burewala (in present-day Vehari District, Punjab, Pakistan).  His parents belonged to a household of railroad contractors who'd transferred from Lahore in 1935 into Bombay.  Khanna dwelt in Thakurdwar near Girgaon, Mumbai, in Saraswati Niwas.

Political and business career

Advani with a narrow margin of 1589 votes, and Khanna stood to the grounds in the counting station insisting he was cheated of a triumph.   Khanna contested the chair, won the by-election by beating Shatrughan Sinha by 25,000 votes.  Rajesh Khanna was a member of Parliament by the New Delhi constituency, where he won the 1992 by-election, keeping his seat until 1996 after he wasn't interested in politics that is active.  When Khanna had been MP, he didn't take new acting missions, but just acted in the movie Khudai (1994).  He had been a political activist for the INC and campaigned until the 2012 Punjab election for the party.

Personal life

His insistence that her career is stopped by Mahendru finally, along with Khanna stardom, ended their relationship.  Mahendru says that the couple didn't talk following the break-up to each other for 17 years.  Afterward, Khanna wed the budding celebrity Dimple Kapadia in March 1973, before Kapadia's debut movie Bobby published in November of the year.   Kapadia and Khanna split in 1984 but didn't finish the divorce event.  Following the biography of Khanna of Yasser Usman, the couple wanted to return to acting.  She'd stopped acting because the latter needed his partner when she wed Khanna.  A couple of years after their union, Kapadia decided to restart her career.  Khanna remained determined that his wife won't do the job.  Kapadia began her career and left Khanna.   Munim was a lover of Rajesh because of her college days.  They appeared in ten films between 1986 and 1981.  According to Bollywood Mantra, reporter, as their union would have an effect on his or her brothers, Khanna refused to wed her to.  Kapadia and Khanna maintained an amicable relationship where they were viewed at family functions and parties.  Kapadia also campaigned for Khanna's election worked in his movie Jai Shiv Shankar (1990), even though the film never got published.  Following the departure of Tina Munim, Khanna declared his friendship.

 About 17, a girl named Anita Advani asserted she had been Khanna's partner and delivered a notice requesting reparation.  The claims were refused by the family.
