Anupam Kher Indian Actor Biography



Anupam Kher was appointing FTII chairman in October 2017 his appointment was mentioned as problematic as a result of absences and his position. 

Anupam Kher is an Indian actor and also the former Chairman of the Film and Television Institute of India.  He's the recipient of eight awards and two National Film Awards.  He's appeared in over 500 movies in plays and many languages. Filmfare Award for Best Comedian five occasions and also Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge (1995).  He even won the National Film Award Particular twice due to his performances in Daddy (1989) and Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Mara (2005). 



He's held the post of Chairman of the National School of Drama and the Central Board of Film Certification.  The Government of India honored him because he participated in the field of arts and cinema with the Padma Shri in 2004 along with the Padma Bhushan in 2016.



Apart from working in Hindi movies, he's also emerged in international films like the Golden Globe-nominated, along with David O. Russell's Oscar-winning Silver Linings Playbook (2012).  He also received a BAFTA nomination for his supporting character from the British television sitcom The Boy with the Topknot (2018).

Early life

Kher was Created in a Kashmiri Pandit family, 7 March 1955, in Shimla. He had been educated in D. A. V. School at Shimla.  He slept on a railway platform.


 A number of the early roles were in plays.  He taught to play in Raj Bisaria's Bharatendu Natya Akademi at Lucknow for a small.

Career

He slipped to directing with Om Jai Jagadish (2002) and was a manufacturer.  He created and starred in the Movie Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Mara (2005).  He also received the Best Actor Award for his performance in the Karachi International Film Festival.at the critically and commercially acclaimed movie, A Wednesday.



 In 2012, he co-starred at the Academy Award-winning Silver Linings Playbook.  He's said that he isn't desperate to become a part of the Hollywood circle, and"Silver Linings Playbook was quite interesting to perform since it was the ideal part for an Asian actor, and had an incredible cast.  "
In 2009, Kher uttered Carl Fredricksen from the Hindi-dubbed Variant of this Disney-Pixar animated movie Up.

he Malayalam language intimate drama Pranayam.  Kher picked Pranayam among the seven greatest movies of his career.





Anupam Kher has also emerged in The Dirty Politics. 

Also, he starred in many Marathi movies like Thoda Tuza...Thoda Maza, Kashala Udyachi Baat, and Punjabi film like Yaaran Naal Baharan.
In 2019, Kher surfaced because of the former Indian Prime minister Manmohan Singh from the governmental, biographical drama movie The Accidental Prime Minister. 
In late 2016, Anupam Kher made Khwaabon Ki Zamin Par, a TV drama broadcasting on Zindagi.
 He also appeared as Shahbaz Karim from the BBC1 drama Mrs. Wilson.




In 2016, Anupam Kher was a narrator at the ABP News documentary TV series Bharatvarsh, which showcased the trip from ancient India into the 19th century.


Kher has had lots of roles, but he has played with several functions.  Because of his role in Daddy (1989), he also received the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Performance.
In 2014, Kher starred in the British movie Shongram, a literary romantic drama series during the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War.

In 2007, Anupam Kher and Satish Kaushik, that analyzed together in NSD, began a movie production company, Karol Bagh Productions.  Their first movie, Tere Sang, had been directed by Satish Kaushik.
